Responsibilities of the Accountant:
• Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
• Collaborate with other departments to address financial issues and provide support for business initiatives.
Qualifications of the Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:
$65,000 – 75,000
