Accountant – Grow Your Career With Us
Location: Rockdale NSW – Modern office, 2‑min walk from station & parking

We're looking for an experienced and capable accountant (5+ years in an Australian public practice) to take on a key role within our firm. You'll manage your own diverse client portfolio with a high degree of autonomy, supported by a friendly team and efficient systems.
What you'll do:
Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
Manage BAS, IAS, and other compliance obligations with confidence.
Oversee SMSF administration and annual return lodgements.
Use Xero, MYOB, and HandiLedger/HandiTax to deliver efficient and accurate work.
Build strong client relationships as a primary point of contact for advice and queries.
Review work from junior team members and contribute to their development.
What you'll bring:
5+ years’ experience in Australian public practice.
Hands‑on experience with HandiLedger and HandiTax is essential.
Practical experience with SMSF compliance.
Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in GST withholding for development
