Key Responsibilities
As an Accountant, your role will be:
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts including entry of property management trial balances and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Preparation of business activity statements for funds
Assist with year-end audit process for all funds and corporate entities
Assist the team with preparation of IFRS financial reports and cashflow statements
Assist with debt facility compliance
Your Profile and Experience
The ideal candidate for this Accountant position will bring background in accounting along with relevant qualifications (CPA/CA). You will have gained a few years' experience in a similar role where you have honed your skills in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit processes. Experience within asset management, real estate or property sectors would be highly regarded but is not essential.
(Partly) qualified CPA/CA
A few years' experience as an Accountant or as an External Auditor
Experience in asset management, real estate or property is advantageous but not essential
Strong communication skills with an ability to liaise with external stakeholders
