Financial Support Officer

In this role, you'll:
Be based in the Finance team within the Public Transport and Partnerships division. This role will see you assist with the payment of our emergency bus contracts and support the Finance team by providing a range of financial and administrative services. You will assist with the processing of monthly payments to service providers in a timely manner in accordance with contractual requirements.
You will also;
Undertake all processes involved in the accounts payable function including dealing with vendors and contracts, invoice pending and open purchase order review
• Ensure that all invoices are processed accurately and discrepancies investigated within timeframe to enable payment to be made in accordance with accounting standards
• Review and reconcile statements
• Oversee the financial section of the emergency bus service contract in order to be able to apply and interpret clauses relevant to payment functions and ensuring that accurate calculations are applied

About you
We are looking for a great collaborator who has the ability to work with information from multiple sources and databases including SAP and other Microsoft applications.
The ideal candidate must have some previous experience working in accounts payable and the ability to work within a small close-knit team environment.
