The Role
This opportunity will suit those who wish to pursue a career that will provide exposure to both advisory and compliance services, ultimately allowing them to develop their career towards becoming a trusted advisor.
Working under an experienced manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Taking responsibility for a client portfolio and cultivating value client relationships
Applying knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry
Working on a range of entities including companies, trusts, self-managed super funds, partnerships, and individuals
Preparing the financial statements and tax returns for your team’s portfolio of clients
Contributing to the ongoing improvements to processes adopted by the firm
Providing support for ad-hoc special assignments and value-add work for clients
Our ideal candidate will have
At least 2 years’ Australian experience in a similar role
Business/ Commerce degree with Accounting Major
Commenced or looking to start CA qualification from CAANZ
Demonstrated experience in a Chartered Accounting Firm of a similar size in a professional services environment (business services or similar)
Solid written and verbal communication skills; articulate and well-presented
Attention to detail, the ability to self-review and perform quality control on work papers
