Full job description
Sarah & Sebastian is seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant to join our team. You will work alongside our General Manager of Finance to manage our financial records with precision and ensure our financial operations run smoothly.

WHAT YOU WII DO

Preparation and ownership of the month end process
Reporting and reconciliation of the P&L, balance sheet and other financial reports
Assisting in the preparation, communication and tracking of budgets and forecasts
Communication with key stakeholders to understand key departmental drivers.
Conduct quarterly reviews of financial position and provide insights
Contribute to the businesses process and improvements
Uphold our commitment to accuracy and compliance
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
CA/CPA qualifications preferred or working towards
2-3 years of experience working for a retail finance department
Understanding of retail transaction flows
Adept at financial modelling, with excellent skills for data analysis and interpretation
A firm understanding of financial statements including P&L, cash flow and balance sheet
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, navigating stakeholder relationships with ease.
