At ALDI, we're looking for Accountant and Stockers to work together on improving the shopper's experience. As a team, you'll operate equipment, keep the shelves stocked, keep the store clean, and serve our customers to the best of your ability.
• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Workload: Below 30 Hours per Week
• The initial hourly compensation given to new workers is $18.50

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:
• Carries out sales transactions, undertakes regular cleaning chores, sets-up shop displays and showcases products in a visually appealing manner
• Providing exceptional customer service is the top priority for ensuring customers have an enjoyable shopping experience
• Ensures that upper management is kept aware of all product matters, such as inventory shortages, scanning errors, and other issues that could impact the store's bottom line
• Participates in the store inventory counting process by adhering to the established protocols and verifying inventory precision
• One effective way to prevent financial losses is to strictly adhere to the cash policies and procedures in place

Stocker Responsibilities:
• Guaranteeing the availability of fresh products for customers by stocking shelves and rotating items frequently
• Utilizing a preconceived planogram for merchandise layout is essential in creating outstanding and professional-looking displays
• Arranging recently-delivered items in a structured manner and eliminating vacant boxes by breaking them down is a critical activity
• The ideal candidate for this job must have expertise in navigating complicated machinery and ensuring that all necessary safety measures are observed

Physical Demands:
• The job description of the store requires its employees to undertake a variety of bodily movements, such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
• Stocking Associate: Ability to transfer merchandise from store receiving to shelves; dexterity in placing products, weighing up to 45 pounds, on various shelving heights

Qualifications:
• Those who are below 18 years old are ineligible to participate

• Aptitude to execute regular cleaning activities while adhering to the company's guidelines
• Utilizing company policies and procedures effectively requires strong critical thinking skills, as well as an awareness of what is expected in a given situation

• Respect and adhere to the state and local laws that govern the handling and selling of alcoholic beverages, and make sure that your establishment is in compliance
• Utilization of different equipment, such as manual/electric hand jacks, cardboard balers, and floor scrubbers, in a safe and effective manner is a must-have attribute for any stocker

Education and Experience:
• The ideal candidate would have completed their secondary schooling or received an equivalent certification
• Individuals with past retail job experience are prioritized
• An integration of formal schooling and firsthand involvement resulting in commensurate comprehension
