Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with expertise in Zoho Books. As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. This role requires proficiency in Zoho Books to handle bookkeeping tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Zoho Books.
• Perform regular bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reimbursements.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements.
• Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Liaise with external auditors during financial audits.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Zoho Books and experience using it for bookkeeping.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
• Experience working in a similar role in Coworking/Real estate/Software Industry
• Knowledge of tax regulations and filing requirements
