About us
Hymans is a family business that operates at a national scale from offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Established in 1984, the business has evolved over time and is comprised of a number of divisions providing a variety of valuation and asset sale services. We are seeking an organised accountant to join our Sydney team and keep a day to day handle on the accounts functions of the business, while assisting our CFO with business valuations. Our diversity of services translates to an interesting day to day in the accounts team. The role will have the support of 2 accounts clerks based in the Philippines and the guidance of an experienced CFO.
Qualifications & experience
CA/CPA;
Familiarity with Xero;
Advanced writing skills, to support the preparation of long form valuation reports;
Excellent Communication;
Experience in a team and with delegating work;
Previous interaction with clients a plus.
Tasks & responsibilities
Assist with business valuations.
Assist with accounts payable/receivable as required;
Assist with end of month procedures;
Generate management reporting;
Trust account management;
Preparation of quarterly financials;
Assist with monitoring/mentoring 2 team members based in the Philippines.
