Job Title:
Financial Accounting and Reporting Leader
As a key player in our organization, the Financial Accounting and Reporting Leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Responsibilities include:
• Reviewing various accounting functions on clients' files including detailed analysis of balance sheets and income statements.
• Reviewing workpapers, accounting schedules, and management reports prepared by team members as part of month-end closing procedures.
• Taking a lead on projects like accounting clean-up, books rebuild, software migration, account adjustments as required, furnishing information to other departments as may be necessary.
• Reviewing work of team members and providing constructive feedback.
• Learning new software and developing new technological skills required to perform accounting and financial reporting, as needed.
• Planning and managing team members' work schedules.
• Helping team members develop their technical and professional skills through proper guidance.
• Adhering to deadlines of tasks assigned and keeping the supervisor updated on progress.
• Self-reviewing work for accuracy and completeness to ensure quality product before submitting to supervisor.
• Preparation/review of SOP for task assigned and updating the same on regular intervals.
• Adhering to internal policies, procedures, and controls.
• Work with both India-based and US-based team members on an ongoing basis to collaborate on performing transactional, technical & reporting activities.
