What you'll do:
Processes accounts receivable and assists with reporting requirements by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Embraces and actively demonstrates R&R Realty Group s core values.
• Records daily deposits (check, ACH, etc.).
• Verifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions to subsidiary, property, and/or tenant ledgers.
• Maintains lockbox database.
• Assists with monthly bank and investment account reconciliations.
• Assists with reviewing leases, tenant ledgers, and corresponding with delinquent tenants.
• Records monthly journal entry accruals.
• Assists with maintaining fixed assets and depreciation records.
• Provides support to the Accounting department with respect to researching budget variance issues, monthly reporting and gathering information for analysis.
• Assists with various presentations, charts in excel, budgets, tax, and audit workpapers, as requested.
What it takes to join our team:
• Bachelor s degree (B.A.) in Accounting from four-year College or University preferred.
• Minimum of Associate degree (A. A.) in Accounting from two-year College or technical school.
• 2 years experience and/or related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
