The College of Business at Black Hills State University seeks to hire an accounting instructor for a full-time, term position starting August 2024. Courses will be taught in Spearfish, Rapid City, and online.
Requirements include a master’s in accounting or related field, competence to teach undergraduate accounting and taxation courses and ability to administer a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) tax preparation program. An active CPA license, accounting work experience and ability to maintain AACSB practitioner qualification preferred.
Additional requirements include: strong collegial and collaborative skills; enthusiasm for working with diverse students, staff, and faculty; and excellent written and spoken English communication skills. The College of Business is accredited by AACSB. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Advertised Salary: $85,000 DOE/Q.
