This remote role includes periodic travel to collaborate, plan, and align with leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively across teams in a global setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting operations and assist in the monthly close process.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting across the organization.
• Accounting Policies: Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and internal controls.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with regional teams and global leadership on financial reporting and compliance matters.
• Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting workflows.
• Audit-Related Tasks: Assist with audit-related tasks and ensure adherence to internal and external requirements.
• Practice Standardization: Help standardize practices across entities or business units.
• Financial Decision-Making: Provide accurate and timely information to support financial decision-making.
• Integration Activities: Assist with integration activities related to new business initiatives.
• Junior Staff Support: Guide and support junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications:
• Degree: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience: Significant experience in a corporate accounting role, preferably within a dynamic or evolving organization.
• Accounting Principles: Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting.
• ERP Experience: Experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Remote Environment: Comfortable operating independently in a remote environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and geographies.
