Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong familiarity with internal control frameworks.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics.
Demonstrated excellence in leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Capable of handling high-pressure environments and meeting strict deadlines.
Role Summary:
The Accounting Manager leads the accounting department’s daily operations, ensuring that all financial data is precise and aligned with accounting standards. This position is critical to driving strategic financial initiatives and upholding strong internal controls.
Primary Duties:
Oversee general ledger activities and manage closing procedures for month-end and year-end.
Direct and support accounting personnel, offering guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Approve journal entries, reconciliations, and final financial statements.
Deliver prompt and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
Provide assistance in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes when needed.
Ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and internal guidelines.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.
Contribute to the budgeting process and create financial forecasts.
Streamline accounting workflows and bolster internal control systems.
Offer strategic financial analysis and recommendations to inform company decisions.
