Qualifications
We are looking for a talented Financial Accounting Manager with a good background in financial statement preparation, Federal & State Tax Filing, and supervising experience
5+ of accounting work experience required
Previous Supervisory experience required
Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and analytical skills
Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
Experience with POS, Slot systems, etc. for revenue auditing reporting
Must have excellent computer skills with proficiency required with Microsoft Excel
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
Ability to identify problems and formulate solutions
Ability to work in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment
Class III Gaming License

Responsibilities
Supervise Accounting personnel
Includes mentoring; staff development; defining essential job functions, responsibilities, and skills; managing productivity, and scheduling
Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of financial data including month end closing, monthly account reconciliations, revenue audits, A/P ledger, G/L postings, fixed assets, etc

Responsible for supervising accuracy and timeliness of Title 31 Compliance
Ensures the quality of operations in all areas of the Accounting Department
Responsible for verifying all gaming and financial audits
Liaison for outside gaming and financial auditors
Establishes and implements Department policies and procedures
Review daily financial reports to certify accuracy
Committed to providing outstanding Customer Service to internal and external customers
Responsible for managing and supervising the Soft Count Department
Other finance and accounting related responsibilities and duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred. Gaming experience is a plus.
