Job Details
Responsibilities
• Manage overall efficiency of the accounting department
• Respond to and answer questions of team
• Work efficiently with coworkers and clients to ensure the best care of client accounts
• Oversee collection process
• Approve payments and sign checks
• Correspond with banking institutions and set up new accounts
• Process, compile and review financial statements
• Create and balance budgets and year-end adjustments
• On-board new client accounts
• Oversee year-end processes
• Assist with outside year-end audits
• Oversee accounting software programs
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in commercial real estate accounting
• Ability to read, analyze, and understand financial statements
• Experience in leading a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of the company
