Description
We are inviting applications for an Accounting Supervisor role based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing monthly and annual closing and reporting processes, daily accounting functions, and general ledger.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the Fixed Assets and associated depreciation schedules, ensuring proper recording of new purchases and disposals
• Handle the entry and processing of biweekly payroll
• Assist in the Health and Benefits administration, including managing open enrollment
• Administer 401(K) and other employee benefit programs
• Prepare monthly cash-flow analysis
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with U.S. GAAP, and accepted policies and procedures
• Facilitate and complete monthly and year-end closing procedures
• Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure accuracy and completeness and ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled
• Prepare monthly and year-end account reconciliations
• Assist with financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
• Manage the effectiveness and efficiency in delivering the supervised accounting functions
• Assist in tracking and maintaining company insurance policies
• Assist in documentation and financial monitoring of internal controls
• Responsible for implementing, revising, and developing, if necessary, in-house policy and guidelines to ensure compliance to changing regulation
Requirements
• Must hold a managerial role in an accounting department or similar
• Must be proficient in accounting software systems
• Familiarity with ERP solutions is a must
• Must be able to handle accounting functions effectively
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Auditing skills are essential
• Must be knowledgeable in billing function
Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
