Job Title: Accounting Team Leader
Job Summary:
Our company is seeking an experienced Accounting Team Leader who can take ownership and responsibility of their work. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounting and possess excellent knowledge of accounting principles. The candidate should be able to manage a few team members and help to increase staff as the company grows. The Accounting Team Leader will be responsible for managing the accounting team and ensuring accurate financial statements and reports and should know Microsoft excel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals and ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial records
• Monitor and analyze financial statements, prepare reports, and reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge of accounting principles
• Hire, train, and evaluate accounting staff as needed to support the growth of the company
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting with proven leadership skills
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
