Sheridan Maine are delighted to be partnering with a well established practice in Hampshire who are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join their team.
As Practice Accountant , you will play a key role within the team and be responsible for the following tasks:
• Completing year end accounts for multiple clients
• Preparing financial statements
• Preparing relevant corporation and VAT tax submissions
• Managing a portfolio of clients and providing advice on financial matters
• Assisting other team members with queries and support with their client accounts
• Providing end to end bookkeeping support
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• ACCA / ACA full or part qualified accountant
• Prior experience working within a busy practice environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Possess the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
• Competent IT skills including bookkeeping software and excel
