Job Description
Reviewing and processing staff/vendor payments in coordination with third party Chartered accountant services and US home office. Checking/verifying and validating the Staff Travel reimbursement and submission for payment for Delhi offices as well as the regional offices and forwarding the same to third party accounts payable team.
Keep all reimbursement records in order for accounting and maintain payment tracker and do timely reconciliation with third party accounts payable team.
For program related procurement - provide guidance to the concerned person in the preparation of the procurement requests. Provide professional advice and assistance to program management team on various aspects of financial management.
Preparing Budget utilization reports, Financial Narrative and variance report with narratives.
Preparing vouchers and maintaining other files relating to financial management, Track the fund request against utilization of funds over a period; highlight issues pertaining to variance to Chief-CSAT and Chief Operating Officer.
Supporting payments/ Budgeting / Financial Planning - Assist in developing budgets. Fund requests and forecasts for the various projects.
Cost Management-Manage costs on projects to deliver value for money to stakeholders.
Operations / Financial Reporting - MIS / Analysis / Actions / Follow Up
Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders - auditors, licensees, producer groups, vendors, Fairtrade group organizations/other functions etc.
Keep track of cashflow / Working Capital management- Manage the cashflow and financial flows in collaboration with empaneled Chartered Accountants firm.
Qualification and Experience
Essential: B-Com/ Graduate (Commerce)/ Postgraduate (Commerce)/MBA-Finance
Minimum of 3 to 5 yrs. of relevant experience in accounting and financial management processes.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Tally/Quick book/SAP
Understanding on local laws on TDS, GST and Income tax
Knowledge of accounting principles and generally accepted accounting principles.
Proficient in MS office
Self-motivated individual
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English, Hindi and local language)
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to plan, implement and complete tasks independently and on time.
