About the role
Indooroopilly Golf Club is seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE) Accounts and Operations Assistant, to join its supportive, close-knit team. This role will provide essential support to the Club’s accounting and operational functions, playing a key part in the smooth running of the business.
What you’ll be doing
Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including responding to member enquiries, processing payments, receipting, statement generation, and reconciliations.
Provide administrative support for operational functions including maintaining registers, monitoring service agreements, document management, staff induction and safety training, and updating internal policies.
Provide reception coverage during staff breaks and leave.
Contribute to the Club’s end of month and year-end processes including annual membership renewals.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Undertake special projects and other duties as required.
What we’re looking for
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts or operations assistant role, ideally within the hospitality or golf industry.
Strong numerical and data entry skills, with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in using accounting and business management software and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Excel.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive, organised and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
