Key Responsibilities:Import Payments & Accounting:
· Handle complete processing of import-related payments, including advance payments, freight, clearing, and final settlements.
· Coordinate with banks for foreign remittances and documentation related to import transactions.
· Perform landed cost calculations and post shipment costs in the accounting system (SAP).
· Ensure accurate booking of AP invoices and allocation of payments.
· Maintain payment schedules to ensure timely vendor settlements.
Vendor Management & Reconciliation:
· Enter vendor payment details in SAP and reconcile with bank records.
· Regularly reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
· Issue debit notes for rejections, overcharges, or adjustments.
· Confirm payments and send payment advice to vendors as required.
· Coordinate with internal teams for timely invoice approvals and documentation.
General Accounting & Reporting:
· Support monthly closings, including AP schedules, reconciliations, and reports.
· Assist in audit preparations by providing payment, invoice, and vendor records.
· Prepare and maintain AP aging reports, vendor ledgers, and MIS data.
· Follow company guidelines and accounting standards in all financial entries.
Other Responsibilities:
· Handle cheque issuance and manual banking processes when needed.
· Carry out additional accounts-related duties as assigned by Directors or HOD.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
