About the Internship:
ServerGuy is a fast-growing technology company that specializes in providing cutting-edge server management and cloud solutions to clients around the world. As a market leader in our industry, we seek a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team and contribute to our financial management and reporting processes.
Key responsibilities:
1. Work on financial recording and reporting
2. Maintain and update financial records using Tally or Zoho Books software
3. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
4. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data
5. Apply your in-depth knowledge of Indian and US generally accepted accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting
6. Identify and implement appropriate adjustments to adhere to accounting standards
7. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
8. Reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly
+. Maintain proper documentation and follow up on outstanding payments
10. Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely employee payroll processing
11. Utilize your experience of working under a chartered accountant to contribute effectively to financial processes, reporting, TDS, and GST calculations, returns, and reconciliation
12. Provide insights into financial performance and recommend corrective actions
13. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
14. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as an accountant
3. Strong understanding of US and Indian accounting practices
4. Proficiency in using Tally or Zoho Books for financial record-keeping
5. Experience in payroll management
6. Experience working under a chartered accountant, specifically on TDS and GST matters
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
+. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills
11. Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets
12. Candidates with US accounting experience and a regular B.Com degree from Delhi University would be preferred
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
2. Those who are from or open to relocate to Noida and neighboring cities
3. US accounting skills
