Job Description
Overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. - Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accurate financial information and timely reporting. - Managing cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting to support business operations. - Conducting regular financial analysis and providing strategic recommendations to senior management for improving financial performance. - Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures. - Managing the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors. - Leading and developing the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and drive efficiency. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Inter CA preferred). - Proven experience as an Accounts Head or similar role in the road transportation industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting. - Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
