Name of Role: Accounts Officer
Locations: Rajasthan (Udaipur, Karauli and Baran)
A snapshot of the Role
This is a very critical role of the organisation and involves meticulous financial management. You would be involved in creating budgets and forecasts by working with different teams assisting them to plan and spend wisely. The role includes analysing finances, making reports to enable management in making smart decisions.
At WOTR your deliverables will be:
Maintaining and updating the books of accounts manually as well as digitally all cash and bank transactions.
Maintaining Bank Book and preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement, identify and explain differences between balance as per books and bank statements
Preparation of monthly statement of advances to employees and follow up timely settlement.
Maintenance and verification of all financial documents (bills and vouchers, bank reconciliation statement, bank statement, monthly and quarterly project financial reports, salary sheets)
Making payments to service providers, vendors and maintenance of petty cash and relevant registers
Preparing monthly salary sheets based on approved consolidated time sheets; preparing cheques and bank transfer documents for review and approval
Providing timely tax guidance to employees, appropriate TDS deductions and provide employees with Form 16 in time.
Preparation and verification of monthly, quarterly, annual and final expenditure vs budget reports of each project/cost center.
Handling periodic and annual statutory audit and preparation of financial statements such as income and expenditure, receipts and payments, balance sheets, etc.
Assist HoD/ Reporting Officer by preparing and maintaining all financial reports required for statutory submissions or by Management- e.g. FCRA, TDS, EPF, GST, Gratuity, Form 16, investments, receipts from donors, and monthly funds forecasts by project.
Performing other duties related to the Accounts Department delegated by the appropriate designated authority.
Assist and work in close coordination and collaboration with other Departmental Heads or designated authority of WOTR as and when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
B.Com/ M.Com
Working experience in Tally and any other accounting software
Working experience of 2 years or more
Strong Analytical skills
Financial Literacy and Attention to detail
