Let’s talk about the role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Officer reporting into Assistant Manager-Finance. The responsibilities include keeping all the financial records up-to-date, Preparing Financial reports, Dealer documentation, Banking coordination, TDS & TCS Details along with handling customer/ team queries on general accounts/ balances.
To be successful at the role, you should have in depth knowledge of all accounting procedures, be open to learning and have strong communication skills (written as well as verbal). Accuracy and timeliness is the key for the position.
Responsibilities and Accountability
• Basic daily accounting, voucher checking, all entries & bank payments.
• Maintenance and filing of all vouchers in soft copy
• Bank Reconciliations, TDS, Accounts, Advances, Follow Up and Audit details to be maintained (Excel Sheets)
• FAR vouchers and details to be maintained in Oracle
• TDS, GST and Proff. Tax details to be maintained.
• AR reconciliation
• AP payments with vendor registrations
• Vendor accounts reconciliations.
• Debit and Credit Notes making
• Booking of purchases
• Month end hard closing reports making
• Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet perpetration
• Third party payments details and entries
• Statutory and Tax audit handling
• Dealer Credit reviews and documents along with along with Dealer agreement sign off and maintenance
Position Specific Skills and Challenges
• Basic Accounting aptitude
• Working Knowledge of tax laws and accounting regulations
• Good understanding of company policies and processes
• Advanced Excel skills and accounting software
• Follows internal financial controls to ensure compliance.
• Explores deviations from procedures to ensure continued compliance.
• Follows up / resolves reported issues and unusual transactions.
• Clearly and continuously communicates objectives and expectations.
• Facilitates team interaction to identify and address issues.

Qualifications And Experience
• Accounts or Finance Graduate
• Have extensively worked in Oracle or SAP accounting environment
• 10 years of experience in regular accounting, detailing, Income tax and GST cases preparation.
• Basic Financial Statements preparation – P/L and Balance Sheet
Preferred
• CA intermediate and training or Other training in Finance domain
