As an Accounts Payable Officer, you'll play a key part in keeping our finances accurate, compliant, and running efficiently. Here's what you’ll be doing:
Process & Reconcile: Accurately process invoices, staff expenses, and credit card reconciliations, ensuring timely payment runs and clean records.
Resolve & Communicate: Collaborate with Procurement to resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain vendor relationships.
Maintain Systems: Manage TechOne workflows, prepayment schedules, supplier setups, and vendor credit applications.
Support the Team: Back up the Finance Officer during leave, assist with bank/vendor reconciliations, and manage department mail and the AP inbox.
Ensure Compliance: Uphold high standards of safety, security, and OH&S in line with company policies and industry regulations.
Work Smart: Thrive in a busy environment, multitask effectively, and support ad hoc finance tasks as needed.

Accounts Payable Expertise: ideally 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong grasp of end-to-end AP, reconciliations, payments, and vendor management.
Technical Know-How: Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experienced with ERP systems (TechOne experience a bonus).
Problem Solver: Strong initiative with the ability to resolve issues independently while identifying and driving process improvements.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in coding, processing, and reconciling transactions—getting it right the first time matters.
Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work well across teams.
Commercially Aware: Sound business judgement, a keen eye for efficiencies, and alignment with Alliance’s core values: Performance, Purpose, People & Service.
