Bunbury Warehouse Storesperson
12-month Maximum Term Contract
Talison Lithium aims to maximise local employment where possible by recruiting people who live in and around our local communities of Greenbushes, Bridgetown, Donnybrook, Nannup, Boyup Brook and Manjimup.
About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the successful candidate will manage, receive, store and distribute material, tools, equipment and products within the Supply department and to outside departments.
Responsibilities include:
Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to the designated areas;
Sort and place materials or items on rack, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, style, colour or product;
Loading and unloading of trucks;
Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for material tolls or other stock items and distribute items to departments or individuals;
Assemble internal customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves;
Mark materials with identifying information;
Record amounts of material or items received or distributed;
Enter details of goods in and out into computer system;
Drive forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant and other required locations; and
Maintain inventory records.
About the Candidate
Certificate in Warehouse Management would be an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in warehouse stock items;
Experience with stores clerical systems;
Understanding storage of dangerous goods & Hazardous Chemicals ;
Understanding of disposal of obsolete stock;
Good interpersonal and communication skills;
Working knowledge of computerised ordering system;
Knowledge of inwards good receivable systems; and
Understanding of purchase systems.
