Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services in Ahmedabad, India. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a focus on procure-to-pay processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process local and foreign currency invoices through the accounts payable systems.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and issues.
• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance both AP and T&E processes by supporting Lean and Six Sigma projects.
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve processes and efficiencies within the area of expertise.
• Prepare and regularly update process documents.
• Develop and use policies and procedures for various AP activities.
Requirements:
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting.
• Graduates and/or post graduates with a degree in finance or accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
• Good domain expertise and understanding of SAP, Concur (a plus).
Desired Skills:
• Team leading experience.
• Result orientation.
• Language requirement – English.
Work Environment:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working night shifts and rotational week-offs. This role requires excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
