Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Finance & Accounting Operations to manage day-to-day team activities, ensure SLA adherence, and deliver high-quality financial processes. This role requires strong people leadership, process expertise, and client-facing experience in an FAO environment.
As a Team Lead, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), drive performance, support training initiatives, and work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
• Supervise daily team operations, manage work allocation, and ensure SLAs and account priorities are met
• Monitor productivity, utilization, attendance, and capacity planning
• Drive team performance through coaching, feedback, and performance appraisals
• Manage attrition and retention through effective engagement and leadership
• Maintain and update client business rules and ensure team compliance
• Resolve operational issues and handle client escalations
• Attend client review calls and support service delivery excellence
• Coordinate with HR & L&D on onboarding, training, and performance of new hires
• Conduct account-specific training and knowledge transfer sessions
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
• Conduct regular Daily, Weekly, and Monthly team meetings
• Support company-wide initiatives, special projects, and quality programs
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field
• Strong understanding of Accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Hands-on knowledge of
Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Accounting (GA)
• Transition and implementation experience is a plus
• 6+ years of experience in FAO or a related industry
• Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience
• Experience working with ERP/Accounting systems
Skills & Competencies
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong stakeholder and client management abilities
• Proficient in
MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Exposure to quality frameworks and continuous improvement concepts preferred
• Willingness to work
US shifts in a 24x7 operations environment
