Acrobatic Dance teacher

Ruby Dance Studios is hiring!

We are looking for an Acrobatic Dance or Gymnastics teacher on Tuesdays or Thursdays during school term time.

Ideal candidates will:

Be qualified and able to demonstrate some basic tricks.
Have a strong knowledge of technique and skill progressions.
Be creative and able to make lessons fun and supportive.
Be reliable and able to commit at least 1 year with us.
If you are unqualified currently, but have lots of Acro experience and would be willing to undertake a qualification soon, then we would still consider your application. Work will be floor based (mats provided).

We can offer you additional hours if you would like them, to work in social media for the dance school, if this is something you are interested/skilled in. If you would not like to do this, then that would not affect your application. Please detail if you work with a particular syllabus (e.g Acrobatic Arts, British Gymnastics or IDTA).

Teaching pay is £20-22 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience.
Social media is paid at £13.50 per hour.
Start date: 2/9/2025.

Tuesday:
17:45-18:30 Junior Acrobatic Dance (6-8 year olds)
and/or
Thursday evenings (a 17:30 or 18:15 start until 19:00) (9-12 year olds)

*For a 45 minute class, we would pay you for the full hour, as it is a single session.

Based at Bramham Village Hall, West Yorkshire (near Boston Spa). Free parking behind the hall.
