Job Description
Part Time (1pm-7pm)
As an Activity Aide, you would report to the Health and Wellness Director, on tasks related to sports, games, movies, crafts, music, and other recreational activities. You would be responsible for setting up equipment for an activity and cleaning up once the event is over. You would also have an active role in ensuring all residents maintain a healthy day-to-day living quality up to each of their specific needs and capabilities.
Requirements:
High degree of interpersonal skills.
Experience in a hospital, long-term care or retirement setting is desirable.
Degree, diploma, or certificate in recreation/leisure studies would be desirable but not required.
Computer skills would be an asset.
Available for some evenings and weekends.
Valid Driver's License and Class F License (preferred)
Received at least two (2) doses of a Health Canada approved Covid-19 vaccine.
