We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in the United Kingdom. About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Administrator to take ownership of employee onboarding and provide day-to-day PA-style administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a varied, fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring new starters have a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience, while also supporting senior team members with diary management, coordination, and general administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & People Administration:
Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new starters
Prepare and issue contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation
Schedule inductions, training sessions, and introductory meetings
Act as a key point of contact for new employees prior to and during onboarding
Liaise with IT, payroll, and managers to ensure systems access, equipment, and permissions are in place
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
Support compliance tasks such as right-to-work checks and document tracking
PA & General Administration Support:
Provide day-to-day PA support to senior team members
Manage diaries, meetings, and inboxes
Prepare documents, correspondence, and reports
Coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions
Handle confidential information with discretion
Support general office administration and ad hoc tasks as required
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Professional, approachable, and people-focused manner
Desirable
Experience supporting onboarding or HR administration
PA experience
Familiarity with HR or people management systems
Experience working in a fast-paced or growing organisation
Previous experience in a healthcare setting
Qualifications
Minimum Level 3 qualification (A-Level equivalent)
Business Administration, PA, or HR-related qualifications are advantageous but not required
