And if you relish the freedom to bring creative, thoughtful solutions to the table, there's no limit to what you can accomplish here. - Responsibilities - Perform installation, configuration, and upgradation of Database on all environment - Implement distributed queuing on various platforms and clustering mechanism to reduce the administrative tasks - Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other database objects etc - Create physical/logical standby database and performing switch- over and fail-over - Drive performance & tuning, monitoring the performance using tools. Required Technical and Professional Expertise - 8+ years' Oracle DBA/Database Architect experience - Advanced Oracle Golden Gate Replication and RAC experience - Experience installing, administering, optimizing, upgrading and patching Oracle 11g and various RDBMS including MySQL - Experience in UNIX/Linux environments with a thorough understanding of the underlying operating system. - Experience in shell scripting or other program languages. - Experience in database change/data management through various stages of the system development life cycle. - Experience with backup and recovery principles Recovery Manager (RMAN). - Advanced experience in space and capacity planning via Advanced System Management (ASM). - Experience with compliance adherence, vulnerability remediation, problem resolution and auditing (including SOX audits). - Ability to work on call and provide 24/7 production support. - Expertise in database Health checks, Database Profiling, Locks, Memory Usage, No of connections, page fault, Disk usage, CPU, Memory check Alerting, etc. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience - Proficient in working with high availability environment along with alignment to process (ITIL) - You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies - Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work - Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management - Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed - Up- to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications Required Education - Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education - Master's Degree Country/Region - India State / Province - MULTIPLE City / Township / Village - MULTIPLE CITIES City / Township / Village 1 - IN_TN_CHENNAI City / Township / Village 2 - IN_TN_CHENNAI - Kyndryl is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
