Administration Support Officer/Stores - Mt Eden Corrections Facility (MECF)

Fixed-term, full-time (14 Months)

This is an opportunity to be part of a great organisation where you will support our management team at Mount Eden Corrections Facility (MECF)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Receiving and checking incoming goods against invoices or packing lists.
Placing items in designated storage areas, Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, Keeping track of stock levels and locations, and Performing regular stocktakes.
Assisting with data entry and paperwork.
Unloading deliveries from trucks and other vehicles.
Inspecting items for damage or discrepancies.
Reasonably fit and strong - Some heavy lifting required
Operating forklifts or pallet jacks to move items
Ensuring safety procedures are
Interacting with suppliers or customers regarding deliveries.
Supporting with general administration as per Administration Support Officer Job description.
Valid forklift licence
Working hours - 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday (not including public holidays) between the hours 07:00am to 4pm (stores)
In this busy role you will enjoy working collaboratively as one team in a challenging and fast paced environment, be able to multitask, remain adaptable, follow and adhere to policies and procedures, and have sound judgement in prioritising tasks and activities to meet deadlines.

Good experience and knowledge of office administration

The ability to work with a wide range of people, from all walks of life, while maintaining a friendly and non-judgemental attitude.
A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain privacy while working with sensitive and personal information.
Good knowledge of computer software and database systems including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

You will need a full New Zealand Driver Licence for this role.

The salary range for this position is $64,717 - $68,434 pa. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
