Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant (AA) is responsible for providing administrative support to the department/team under general supervision. The AA works with all levels of the organization. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, coordinating calendars and travel for leaders, creating/maintaining documents and files, entering data and running reports.
Essential Functions
• Replies to incoming requests and creates and/or coordinates outgoing communications. (20%)
• Schedules meetings, arranges travel and special event activities. (20%)
• Prepares presentations and documents for leaders on team. (20%)
• Orders and maintains supplies and equipment for the team. Prepares purchase orders and payment requests. (15%)
• Creates and maintains department files. (10%)
• Collects and maintains data and creates reports as needed. (15%)
Education
• High School Diploma or GED required
Work Experience
• 1-3 years of related experience, which includes one year of the same type required.
Licenses
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Communicates effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to effectively perform under tight deadlines
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Easily adapt to change
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
