About The Role...
This role would suit an early bird, someone who likes to get cracking early in the morning & enjoy an early finish! Generally you'll commence around 4am and finish around midday - 1pm. It's an open plan & blue collar construction environment where you'll be able to get 'stuck in' to work before the technicians arrive.
The role is office based, Monday to Friday and requires meeting daily deadlines and working in a fast paced environment. The current administrator has been here for 5 years so it's a pretty decent place to work!
The role as Administrative Assistant is a 6 months fixed term contract with the possibility for continued employment at the completion of the contract for the right person (you'll get holiday and sick pay) and tasks include;
High volume and accurate data entry to meet daily deadlines
Work in a fast paced environment
Use of Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Process and maintain laboratory documentation
Process documentation to assist our clients
Assist answering phones (when required)
Pay is generally around 20-28 per hour (fixed term contract with the security benefits of holiday and sick pay)
Ideally we'd like to commence the role in mid September 2026
About You...
We are looking for someone that would like to work in a blue collar construction environment that likes an early start and early finish! Skills wise, we are looking for;
High attention to detail. This is a crucial component of the role
Intermediate Skills in Word, Excel, Outlook
Speedy data entry skills - Typing of 50 wpm
Organisational skills and the ability to prioritize your time and meet critical daily deadlines
An ability to work effectively in a team, working closely with the area administrator, lab employees and the lab managers
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
