This position is located in the Advisory Board on Compensation Claims (ABCC) and United Nations Claims Board (UNCB) Secretariat Section of the Financial Risk Management Service, in the Finance Division of the Office of Programme Planning, Finance and Budget (OPPFB) in the Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC). The Section is mainly tasked with supporting the ABCC and UNCB Secretariat with the adjudication of individual claims for compensation submitted under the Appendix “D” to the Staff Rules and the Administrative Instruction ST/AI/149/Rev.4. The Administrative Officer reports to the Finance Officer/ Secretary of the Advisory Board on Compensation Claims (ABCC), P-4. The Administrative Officer will focus on ensuring the appropriate triaging of claims submitted under the provisions of Appendix “D” to the Staff Rules and will support the presentation of cases to the Advisory Board on Compensation Claims and the United Nations Claims Board.
Certification in Project Management such as PRINCE2 or PMP is desirable.
