Facility & Supportive Living (FSL) has an opening for an Administrative Support IV. Role and responsibilities include using advanced technical and computer skills to support a broad scope of administrative and operational work. Tasks range from supporting leaders, projects, meetings (agendas, minute taking, scheduling), documents (formatting, editing, updating), maintaining MS SharePoint site(s), using Connect Care (electronic client charting system), to facilitating logistics and handling of medical surgical supplies and equipment. Additionally, the Administrative Support IV works closely with business team members sharing responsibilities and ensuring cross coverage. Your success will rely on well-developed soft skills (customer service and communication), technical skills (software applications and administrative expertise), physical capabilities (lifting 30 pounds of supplies/ equipment) a flexible and professional approach to work and colleagues, and an excellent attendance record that demonstrates reliability. You will act as an ambassador for the program while maintaining composure and professionalism in an often-changing environment with time sensitive priorities and high expectations. Required Qualifications:
Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Administrative experience in a complex healthcare environment. Advanced computer skills using MS Office Suite applications (includes using SharePoint and Visio) & Adobe Pro. Strong keyboarding skills with a minimum of 55 words per minute. Experience working with electronic charting systems, shared drives, and records management. Must be detail oriented and be able to perform repetitive computer work for an extended period. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and reassess priorities as needs arise. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and decision-making skills with the ability to work both independently and actively contribute within a team. Ability to share concerns and frustrations in a professional manner and find solutions for improvement. Must be able to push, pull, lift (up to 30 pounds), reach above shoulder and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Training and experience using Connect Care. Experience working in an administrative role within Continuing Care. Working knowledge of inventory and asset management practices.
