Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau |Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family
Priding yourself on your solutions focus, you thrive in a hands‑on, fast‑paced and varied environment, and love being part of a tight‑knit, collaborative team.
We’re looking for an experienced Administrator to join our Fleet and Heavy Plant team based at the FH Civil Ranui office. This is an on‑site role at the heart of our operations, where your efficiency, adaptability and proactive mindset will help keep our work moving safely and smoothly, every day.
In this busy environment, you’ll be highly deadline driven, detail focused and someone the team can rely on. You will primarily assist us in in running our new Plant Maintenance system, becoming the go to person for the team. There will be the opportunity to bring your skills to other projects and tasks assigned by the Fleet Manager.
You’ll enjoy plenty of variety – assisting the wider team with delivering the corrective repairs and preventative maintenance of our fleet, assisting with booking repairs and maintenance, generating purchase orders and placing orders, receipting invoices and delivery notes, data entry, dealing with our suppliers and subcontractors, reconciliation and cost coding to ensure that the costs are captured and charged for. Managing the life cycle of the repair process from raising the work order for the repair through to the billing of the repairs and closing the repairs out once completed. You will learn how to use our associated systems and Apps such as Eroad.
This role offers flexibility around start times and will suit an early bird who enjoys starting early on site with the rest of the crew, being right where the action is.
In addition to the above, you will have:
A background in fleet or workshop administration or an associated industry
A desire and willingness to learn new systems and processes
Strong competence in the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Proven data entry and database management experience
Advanced skills in systems coordination and general business administration
A willingness to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile for the team
Great problem-solving skills and lots of initiative
A genuine commitment to safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement on site
A preference for being site‑based, enjoying being in the office every day and interacting with a wide range of people
With room to grow within the team and across Fulton Hogan, this is a fantastic opportunity for a key team member to bring your strong administration skill set to a business that’s all about “Good Work” – for our people, our customers and our communities.
