With extensive experience in BIW Weld Shop assembly line simulation and fixture validation, you will bring valuable expertise to our team. Your practical knowledge of DELMIA (V5), Process Simulate, and RobStudio will enable you to develop innovative solutions and drive project success.
We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in manufacturing and shop floor experience. Your ability to suggest process changes and contribute to the development of BIW products and processes will be highly valued.
As a Simulation Lead, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including weld gun selection and redesign, tool validations, and offline programming. Your hands-on experience with controllers like KUKA, ABB, FANUC, Yashakawa, Nachi, and Kawasaki will be essential in delivering high-quality results.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to prepare process documentation and contribute to the development of OEM standards and requirements. Your expertise in event-based simulation and kinematics will be highly valued in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead simulation projects independently and collaboratively
• Develop and implement innovative solutions using DELMIA (V5), Process Simulate, and RobStudio
• Suggest process changes and contribute to the development of BIW products and processes
• Prepare process documentation and contribute to the development of OEM standards and requirements
• Deliver high-quality results through hands-on experience with controllers
Requirements:
• 10-20 years of practical experience in BIW Weld Shop assembly line simulation and fixture validation
• Strong background in manufacturing and shop floor experience
• Experience with DELMIA (V5), Process Simulate, and RobStudio
• Familiarity with OEM standards and requirements (e.g., GM, VW, BMW, Stellantis)
• Hands-on experience with controllers like KUKA, ABB, FANUC, Yashakawa, Nachi, and Kawasaki
• Event-based simulation and kinematics expertise
Desired Knowledge:
• CATIA V5 R17 to 1+, FIDES, UG NX 5/6 with GM tool kit
• FactoryCAD (any)
