Job Description
This role involves working with the simulation team to develop and implement BIW assembly line simulations, ensuring seamless project completion from process design to offline programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead projects independently, collaborating with customers and team members to ensure successful outcomes.
• Utilize software such as DELMIA (V5) / Process Simulate / RobStudio for BIW simulation.
• Maintain expertise in OEM standards and requirements, particularly those of major automotive manufacturers like GM, VW, BMW, and Stellantis.
• Design and optimize manufacturing processes using tools like Process Designer and Human Ergo Sim.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 10-20 years of experience in BIW weld shop assembly line simulation and fixture validation.
• Proficiency in offline programming languages, including KUKA, ABB, FANUC, Yashakawa, Nachi, and Kawasaki.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product structure development, and tool validations.
• Familiarity with event-based simulation and preparation of process documentation.
