Have good knowledge of open trailer transport specifically oversized heavy haulage loads
Strong knowledge of compliance – NHVR requirements and load restraints.
Knowledge of Road Transport regulations & gazettes
Fully Qualified with 2+ years in the field
Have a HC licence and/or manual drivers licence
Forklift licence would be an advantage
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Have a strong work ethic and be reliable
Effective troubleshooting and problem solving ability
Be able to work under pressure in a demanding and fast paced environment
Must be safety conscious and have the ability to promote a safe environment
Sound mechanical aptitude
Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
