Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. It is a family run business that offers an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using 2500 years old traditional art form.

The founder, Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary created a unique business model, which provides livelihood to the artisans at their doorstep. This changed the standard practice of involving middlemen to work with artisanal communities. The company currently has a network of over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India. It has an end-to-end business model, right from sourcing of wool to exporting a finished handmade rug.

The modern and eclectic collection of rugs, made using the finest wool and silk, has won numerous global awards and is currently exported to more than 45 countries with the US sales arm, Jaipur Living, Inc. located in Georgia, Atlanta.

Job Description: The specific responsibilities of the position holder will be (though not restricted to) the following:
• Implementing and overlooking the four verticals of HR-Organization Development Intervention, Performance Management System, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement.
• Identifying the nature of OD intervention required in the organization; ensuring activities are in place for organizational development.
• Developing and implementing human resources policies and documentation.
• Managing employee relations and taking necessary measures for employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health;
• Administrating compensation and benefits;
• Leading and Managing Change with management buy in and implement the designed intervention.
• Engaging the organization in Self-Management activities.
• Implementing and timely update of SOP, KRA, KPI, Performance matrix and JD for all the employees in the organization.
• Directs a process of organizational planning that evaluates company structure, job design, and personnel forecasting throughout the company. Evaluates plans and changes to plans. Makes recommendations to executive management.
• Evaluate and approve the monthly PMS.
• Designs, directs and manages a company-wide process of organization development that addresses issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management.
• To ensure appropriate training is provided to the required employees and performing training needs analysis (Branch and HO Level Trainings)
• Right sizing of manpower as per business requirement and Budgeting as per the business plan for next year.
• Preparing the HR budget and performing cost control measures.
• Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Ensuring full coordination and support to the Management and performing leadership activities.
• Handling team size of 8-10.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:
• Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development.
• Team handling experience.
• Master’s degree in MBA/ PGDM or equivalent degree.
• At least 12-15 years of relevant experience as Business HR.
• Excellent knowledge of HR processes & systems in a professional environment.
• Highly organized and detail oriented with high ethical standards.
• Excellent at problem solving skills and possesses strong people skills.
• Budget management experience and proficient with data analysis & reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the company Board of Directors.
• Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
