About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Reinforcement Learning Expert with expertise in NVIDIA''s Isaac Sim, and LMMs to advance the automation of tasks through robotics. You will design and train reinforcement learning (RL) models for robotic systems, leveraging simulation environments to optimize precision, efficiency, and safety in real-world scenarios. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of fully automated processes within the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement reinforcement learning algorithms to solve complex tasks.
Create and refine physics-based simulation environments in Isaac Sim to replicate construction tasks and scenarios.
Train robotic agents to handle specific challenges, such as handling diverse materials, precision placement, and navigating dynamic environments.
Collaborate with hardware and robotics teams to integrate RL models with robotic arms, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery.
Optimize training pipelines to ensure efficiency and scalability for large-scale simulations.
Analyze the performance of RL algorithms and iteratively improve the models to handle real-world variability and constraints.
Stay updated on advancements in RL, Isaac Sim, and robotics, applying innovations to the development process.
Required Skills And Qualifications
PhD in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, or related fields (PhD preferred).
Experience:
Proven track record in reinforcement learning model development and deployment.
Extensive hands-on experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Omniverse, or equivalent simulation platforms.
Strong understanding of robotic control systems, kinematics, and dynamics, particularly in construction robotics.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in reinforcement learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
Proficiency in RL algorithms (e.g., PPO, SAC, DDPG) and their application to robotics.
Familiarity with robotics middleware, such as ROS (Robot Operating System) and Isaac Sim.
Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of C++ (preferred).
Experience Of LMMs Desirable But Not Required
Experience with GPU acceleration and distributed training.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating RL models into real-world construction environments.
Familiarity with real-time sensor data integration, such as LiDAR, cameras, and IMUs.
Background in multi-agent RL for coordinating multiple robotic systems on a job site.
Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements in the construction industry.
