Permanent full-time role based at Qantas Corporate Campus in Mascot, covered under the Professional Engineers EA.

As a Maintenance Program & Reliability Engineer, you will work within a team environment to manage the Airbus fleet’s maintenance and reliability program, including identification and prioritisation of fleet issues, root cause analysis, and development of corrective actions to drive continuous improvement in safety and operational performance. You will undertake work involving difficult and responsible assignments which may require original contributions that see you modify established guidelines or establish new approaches. You will lead projects as well as plan, supervise and coordinate the work of others including professional engineers.

You’ll have –

Professional Engineering degree
Strong demonstrated skills in problem-solving and analytical thinking, both individually and as part of a team
Ability to analyse large volumes of data efficiently
Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
Accuracy and high level of attention to detail.
Ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions, even when presented with incomplete or uncertain data
Ability to develop business cases, weighing cost and risk against the benefit to the business
Team focused approach, with a demonstrated commitment to proactively finding solutions to problems
High degree of personal integrity
Have sound knowledge of CASA regulations particularly Part 42 and Part 145.
