Job Description:
Novotel Brisbane Airport seeks an experienced Airport Operations Manager to join their team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day Front Office operations, setting departmental objectives, rosters, budgets, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day Front Office operations with a focus on exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless guest experiences.
Set departmental objectives, rosters, budgets, policies, and procedures to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Maintain the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team Members, fostering a culture of development and teamwork.
Educate team members on current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and policies, as well as local area information to enhance guest satisfaction.
Maximize sales revenues through up-selling and marketing programs, driving revenue growth and increasing market share.
Monitor Guest satisfaction reports and implement actions to improve results, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Foster good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and cooperation.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
Proven experience in similar positions within a hotel/resort environment, preferably in a 4-5 star hotel setting.
Self-motivated individual with a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
Experience in rostering and wage control, with a strong understanding of Rooms Division areas, including Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.
Proven experience supervising and training staff, with excellent communication skills, time management skills, and ability to work closely with all hotel departments and Managers.
Well-presented individual with an eye for detail and good organisational skills, able to act without prior authority in matters concerning the safety, security, and well-being of all hotel guests, patrons, and staff in senior management's absence.
Able to review daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of VIPs, return guests, and groups, proficient computer system skills, including Fidelio or Opera knowledge.
