Alternative investment Accounting & Reporting
Should be Proficient in Investment Accounting
Develop a strong understanding of Alternative investments operations and processes.
Good to have in-depth knowledge of the various fund structures and Limited partnership agreements.
Monitoring generic mailbox, transaction processing and reconciliations
Cash monitoring and accounting the Cash / noncash transactions in the Accounting ERP
Preparation of Wires in the internal tools
Set up new Investment/property in Front Invest ERP
Cash & positions reconciliations
Analyzing quarterly and annual capital account statements &financial statements
Support month/quarter end GL close
Performance monitoring and validation
Reporting (client & regulatory) and audit support
Good to have knowledge in Accounts Payable
Completing ad hoc analyses (Benchmark, valuation policies etc.) as requested
CAM Relationship Management
Work as a member of a broader team in processing and administration of the gift annuity and trust gift vehicles. This includes new gift setup and any administration changes to existing accounts.
Work as a member of a broader team in supporting the periodic FTTOP annual review confirmation.
Work as a member of a broader team in completing periodic reviews of AML / KYC client requirements.
Work as a member of a broader team in researching root cause of returned mail and ACH rejections.
Help with check monitoring and processing. This includes processing checks that come in for new gifts and checking the status of any outgoing checks.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting & finance with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
Intermediate knowledge of excel and PowerPoint (minimum requirement)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with Long term commitment to the process.
A self-Starter with the capacity to work independently; must also be able to work as part of a close team and take directions from senior colleagues.
Experience in Front Invest and knowledge on Alternative investments is an added advantage
