GCA Logistics LLC is a Delivery Service Partner based in Atlanta, GA. Our family-owned, locally-operated business prides itself on the professionalism and capabilities of our tight-knit team. Currently, we are looking to fill both full-time delivery driving positions at DFT4 (1+68 Marietta Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318). As a delivery driver, you will be subject to the responsibilities of following company procedures while loading and delivering customer packages. Delivery drivers are eligible to work three to four 10-hour shifts per week, including weekends and holiday shifts.
Responsibilities
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicles
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies
• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions
• Keep up with the pace in a physically demanding work environment; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and to ensure deliveries are completed
• Use a smartphone device for GPS navigation, to scan packages, to conduct administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and to communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages to and from the delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements such as through participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
• Conduct oneself in a highly ethical manner at all times
• Show excellent attention to detail
• Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills
• Work in a self-directed environment with an upbeat attitude
• Work with a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Behave responsibly and courteously towards others

Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
• Must have hiring experience, reliable, and safe drivers
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations may disqualify you from the position)
• Have a positive attitude
• Fluent in English (being bilingual/multilingual is a bonus)
• Able to complete mandatory training
• Available to work weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
• Lift a maximum of 50 pounds during an 8 to 10-hour work shift
• Appropriately handle stressful driving demands including inclement weather conditions
• Climb stairs, reach overhead, squat/bend/kneel during an 8 to 10-hour work shift
