Job Description

As a Content Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for producing, implementing, and managing all content marketing across our website, social media platforms, and YouTube channel. You will be a creative thinker with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, and the ability to analyse performance metrics to refine content.

As a Content Marketing Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities:

Content Creation:
• Produce high-quality content for the company website, including blog posts, landing pages, and other web copy;
• Create a content calendar that aligns with the company’s goals and ensures a consistent posting schedule;
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., product, sales, customer support) to ensure alignment of content with company initiatives;
• Oversee the creation of engaging social media content, including posts, graphics, videos, and stories;
• Manage the production of YouTube videos, including concept development, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing;
• Assist Brand Manager by inputting into content marketing strategy;

SEO and Performance Optimisation:
• Implement SEO best practices across all content to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic;
• Monitor website analytics and use data to optimize content performance and user experience;
• Track and report on key performance metrics across all platforms, making recommendations to the brand manager and growth manager for adjusting strategies as needed;

Social Media:
• Manage the company’s social media presence across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn);
• Engage with followers, respond to comments, and build an active online community;
• Stay updated on social media trends and algorithm changes to ensure content remains relevant and effective.

YouTube Channel Management:
• Oversee the company’s YouTube channel, including video uploads, channel optimisation, and audience engagement;
• Collaborate with influencers and other content creators to expand reach and engagement on YouTube;
• Analyse video performance metrics to improve video content and channel growth.

Collaboration
• Work closely with the Brand Manager to ensure content aligns with overall marketing campaign;
• Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and partners as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements
• Previous experience in content marketing, social media management, or a related role;
• Proven track record of creating and managing content across websites, social media platforms, and YouTube;
• Strong understanding of SEO, social media algorithms, and video production;
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills;
• Ability to analyse data and metrics to optimize content;
• Experience with content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and video editing software;
• Purpose-driven creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building;
• Strong organisational and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in emotion-driven purchases/products or services;
• Knowledge of paid social media advertising and influencer marketing;
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, and SEO tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs;
• Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
